Auto Insurance Claims: confuessed policy holder HELPPPPP!!!!, deductible question

Do I have to pay a deductiable in a hit & run on my car when I have full coverage? (I still owe $4,000/ 05' chevy cavalier 4dr LS sport very clean ,80,000 miles hit in parking lot/ $4,200 worth of damages I,m still dealing with adjuster it's been 6 months he started at $3,100 and he's gone down seens then $2,850 then $2,700 been with company for 8 yrs. always pay on time .If you have any other advice at all that would be great too.   If you file with your own insurance, you will have to pay a deductible.  On the upside, there is likely an appraisal clause in your policy that would allow you to effectively argue the value of your damages.  I hope this helps!  Information is always free at Petty Details, LLC!
