Auto Insurance Claims: enterprise car ins., enterprise rent a car liability

I rented a car from enterprise and did not buy the insurance the offered me. I was hit in the rear while at a stop sign. Is enterprise responsible for paying my hospital bill and the go after the guy that hit me?

Not to be short or anything, but the answer is no.  Depending on the State where this occurred, there might be some options with your own carrier, and in a few rare instances, Enterprise may be required to carry no-fault insurance, but 99% of the time, Enterprise is not liable for anything that happens when their vehicles are involved in an accident.  Rent a car companies are an unusually protected class of vehicle owners.
