Auto Insurance Claims: Am I entitled to recover the money I just put into my vehicle?, total loss auto

My vehicle was parked and was hit by another vehicle.  My vehicle suffered a tremendous amount of damage, it is being totaled.  I had just put approx. $2000 worth of work into it a month prior.(New tires, shocks, struts, mounts, alignment, and other misc. maintenance. )  Am I entitled to recover that money as well as the fair value of my vehicle?
