Auto Insurance Claims: Auto Insurance Loss Of Use, insurance loss, policy language

I had a car accident on November 17, so right now I am waiting around 3 months to pick my car from adjuster office and the insurance company of man who hit my car at back does not want to pay. My adjuster said that I could not fix my car until they will get final estimate from that insurance company. How about loss of use? I will get for whole time or like Insurance provider said that they will pay just for 12 days? How about other time that I was waiting? Can you help? Thanks.

I really appreciate you rating my answer, however you gave mr a 6 on knowledgability which is not appropriate. Some people want only the anwer they want to hear. Being an expert, I feel it would be reckless to give you opinions without knowing all the facts. I have no way of knowing the specific policy language as it relates to you and your situation.

Your agent has no problem taking your money when writing the policy. Your agent should at least what they sold you.

There is never a problem until there is a claim. Insureds then lash out because they assumed there would be no problem, even though at the time of the claim is when the true coverage rears it's ugly head.

I have a tremendous advantage over most having dealt with insurance claims for 17 years. I do not trust agents and found that if I don't look out for myself, no one will look out for me. Unlike most, I ask lots of questions when getting the policy.

I recently had an accident with my truck. The chrome winch bumper is destroyed as well as the right front corner. Normally the $2,000.00 winch bumper would not be covered because it is after market. I requested an endorsement to cover the after market parts. The endorsement was an extra $90 per year. Well worth the extra coverage now!!

The agent never suggested the endorsement and now is the time I would be upset.

I am working on all of this for my website as to thecquestions pn future coverage, but in all honesty, I have not had the time to get all this posted.
