Auto Insurance Claims: Diminished Value Expert Credentials, expert credentials, adjuster license

Question
Richard,

I am the President/Ceo of Petty Details, LLC.  I have recently come across a Texas company that has disputed my credentials for determining diminished value.  I have a Texas All-Lines adjuster license and a Texas Public adjuster license, additionally I have over 14 years of experience in auto claims and related areas.  I have testified a few times as an expert on auto damages and vehicle values, but have yet to be challenged in court on diminished value.  I utilize very precise methods in determining diminished value, and I'm curious as to whether I could get some "backing" from you on my ability to credibly determine diminished value.  I would disclose my methods to you and ask that you either agree or disagree that my methods and experience are sufficient for me to be able to credibly write  a report reflecting diminished value.  I am based in Texas and my primary client base is in Texas.  I have written many reports that were accepted by insurance carriers and utilized to settle diminished value claims for my clients.  Additionally, I offer diminished value report audits which detail where others fail in their attempt to document diminished value.  I consider myself an expert, but I am looking for others who I consider experts to validate my standing.

At your leisure.

Sincerely,
Justin Petty
