Auto Insurance Claims: medical information release, authorization forms, information release

Question
Is there a way of providing the insurance company with the information they need without signing the medical and employer release forms sent to me in the mail ?

Answer
Joseph,

You could gather the information yourself and send it to them but they probably won't accept it.  If you decide to give them the authorizations for the release of your medical records (which you'll have to do if you expect them to pay) make sure you fill out the authorization forms correctly and limit the release to only information that is pertinent to your claimed injuries and to the applicable time period.

I see people screw this up all the time.  Be careful and if you're concerned then you should hire an attorney to represent you.

Best of luck,
