Auto Insurance Claims: California Loss Of Use Limitations, insurance company, insurance

Question
In California, are there any limitations on the number of days an Insurance company can be liable for Loss of Use? Insurance company has accepted liability for loss but is claiming a 10 day limit on the Loss of Use compensation. The claim took over 30 days to work through their system before the insurance company even acknowledged liability.

Answer
Hi Steve,

No there is no limit. The insurance comppany is making stuff up in an attempt top steal your money.  You should tell them that if there is a law that limits what they have to pay to 10 days, they should provide you with a copy of the law or the statute number so you can look it up. Otherwise they should shut up and pay you what they owe.

I hope this helps
