Auto Insurance Claims: problem with my auto claim, tension headache, auto claim

Question
Compliments.
I was involved in an auto accident. progress - 3rd party have accepted responsiblity. They totaled my car and has since replaced it. The problem now is with settling the medicals, pain and suffering.
I requested for $39,000.00+ because I was still treating and the adjusted advised sending in something which she could adjust to enable them settle the case. She offered complete medicals which was roughly $13,000 plus $5000 max for others.
This was not O.K considering the neurologist report of Tension headache (as need be) for the trauma to head.
I was refered to someone ? an attorney. I know looked at the agreement with me and notice no signature, no name etc.

Another laywer has contacted pregressive on my case but I do not know the attorney. progressive made the same offer they made to me.

Is my case helpless. Without any specific attorney nor any signature from their part. Also they have refused to contact the county hospital that treated me concerning payment.

What can I do to salvage the suitation. I reside in Texas - Dallas

Answer
Hi Ngo,

First you need to contact the attorney that claims to be representing you to find out who he or she is and who authorized them to represent you. If you are satisfied with them representing you then you should have a detailed conversation with your attorney about the value of your claim and what they are going to do to help you get it.

You must keep in mind that the insurance company has no interest in properly compensating you. Their only interest in to settle for as little as possible and they will do or say almost anything to accomplish that goal.

I hope this helps
