Auto Insurance Claims: Driving a car with no insurance, driving a car, tittle

Question
In the state of PA, If there are two names on the tittle to a car and the primary title holder takes off the insurance and the secondary does not know.  Who would get in trouble for no insurance if the secondary holder got pulled over?

Answer
Hi Jeff,

Regardless of ownership if you are driving a car with no insurance then you will receive a citation or in some states may be taken to jail. This is true even if you borrow a car from a friend or relative. As the driver of the vehicle it is your responsibility to be sure the vehicle you are driving is on the road legally.

I hope this helps
