IF MY CAR INSURANCE WAS CANCELLED AND THE CAR WAS INVOLVED IN A SINGLE CAR ACCIDENT ,DOES THE LEIN HOLDER ALSO HAVE INSURANCE TO COVER THE LOSS

Probably not.  Unless there is some independent duty owed from the insurer to the lien holder, they probably have no recourse (nor do you if the lien holder tries to make a claim against you).  There may be state laws in your particular jurisdiction that state otherwise, but you really need to contact an attorney if you have this issue.
