The insurance adjuster send me a letter stating that if I go to the doctor after Feb 2, 2009 they will not pay the insurance company insurer was at total fault of the accident that occur on DEC 2 2008 The insurance company wants me to settle at $2,000 which I feel is to low Quote from letter from insurance company "This Letter confirms the offer to resolve your injury claim .This offer includes @2000 for your pain and inconvenience and up to $4400 for Medical bills incurred through 2/5/09.The medical expense portion of this settlement offer includes reimbursement of copayments medical bills paid and/or related subrogation demands Please be advisethat medical treatment sought after 2/5/09 may not be considered. based on information available we are comfortable that the offer extended to your represent a fair evaluation of your claim  If you have any more information please let me know and i will happy to review it " do i have to settle now i feel the offer is to low what would be the best step to take now i feel pressured to take this offer Help

NO you do not have to settle if you do not want. Do not feel pressured to settle if you believe you are still injured. Insurance companies use techniques like this one to get a release from you.

Only settle when you feel their offer is fair per YOUR standards. This is your pain and suffering and not theirs! You need to evaluate what you believe it is fair.
