Auto Insurance Claims: claims adjustment proceedure, claims adjuster, thanks in advance

My vehicle was struck by another recently. I found out today that his insurance is going to require me to take off work and drive to their location in order for their claims adjuster to look at the damage on my truck. This seems ridiculous to me - I think they should send an adjuster to my workplace. Is this practice normal or should I insist they come to me? Thanks in advance for your help.

That is completely wrong. You should tell them that they should come to you because you are not going to be inconvenienced any more.

It is unreasonable for them to expect you to come to them. \
