Auto Insurance Claims: car accident, hr corner, bono basis

Question
was involved in a car accident 9/15. I was a a complete stop, it was a 20 mile/hr corner and I got rear ended. I have no insurance and neither does the woman that hit me. Is it worth sewing or what is my case here. Do I need a pro bono? I have no money.

Answer
Hi Brittney,

You can file a law suit if you want to. However, just as you have said that you have no money and had no insurance, the other person had no insurance either and likely has no money either. Even if you win your law suit, if the other person has no money, you will not get paid. Also, it will be very hard to find an attorney to take this kind of case on a pro bono basis.

Based on all of this, it appears you will just have to pay for the repairs yourself or try to file suit and hope you can get some money.

I hope this helps
