Auto Insurance Claims: Auto Accident, personal injury attorney, better business bureau

Question
My daughter goes to College in Florida and had a no-fault accident on Sunday.  The other driver has admitted his fault and is cooperating. She went to the ER and was diagnosed with 'acute cervical strain' she is in terrible pain and is unable to prepare for her finals.  Question since the other driver is cooperating do I need to find a lawyer or just deal with the Ins. Co.? looking forward to your response.

Answer
Hi Sarah,

If your daughter has a Florida policy, the first $10,000.00 in in medical bills will be paid by her policy. You would make a claim to the other insurance company for any additional medical expenses as well as pain & suffering, etc.

You should have your daughter visit www.collisionwizard.com . This is a website produced by the Better Business Bureau Video Series in conjunction with a personal injury attorney. She can register to use the site for just $19.95. It will allow her to keep track of all of her treatment, create a demand letter and will even give a suggested claim value range based on her situation.

I hope this helps
