Auto Insurance Claims: three car accident, insurance documents, mothers name

Question
I was in a three car accident today. I ran into a car the hit another. The car is registered in my mothers name and my name as well. She is carrying the insurance and I do not think i am a driver. Not to sure b/c the vehicle was just purchased 5 months ago. I had to call it into the ins company and they told me to take the car to an collision center. My question is about the other cars. we have full coverage but how does this work?

Answer
Hi Joel,
If you are not a NAMED DRIVER on your mothers policy, the entire claim will be denied and you and your mother will be financially responsible for the damages to all 3 cars plus any injuries in the other 2 cars.

Please write me again after you have checked your mothers insurance documents and/or called her AGENT and let me know if you are a named driver on her policy.  Also let me know your state of residence, your age and how long you have been licensed.

I hope this information was helpful.
Your feedback by rating my answer will be appreciated.

Sincerely,
Bennie
