Auto Insurance Claims: valet damage, tropicana atlantic city, small claims court

Question
I recently parked my 10 year old Jeep with the Valet @ Tropicana Atlantic City. When I got it the window was 1/2 way down. When I got up the road i realized my electric window was off track, and wouldn't move. When i went back they produce a fake tag that says the window was broken when I came in.
This is an obvious lie. It cost me $165 to fix. I wrote the CEO a letter, and the same claims adjuster wrote me a letter that says " it's old, it wore out" . Tough S___, basically
Any thoughts on how to recover my $?
P>S> The place is a dump anyway, so save your money, even apart from the stupid valet....

Answer
Hi Jeff,

This is a common problem. Unfortunately, it would be up to you to prove that it was not broken before and that they broke it. If you can prove both of these then you would likely have to file in small claims court and prove it to a judge. Considering the small amount of money involved, it's likely not worth the time, expense and uncertanty of going to court.

I hope this helps
