Auto Insurance Claims: coverage, accident damage, family emergency

I got in an accident in my aunts vehicle...I was using her car to get to a family emergency. I am not on her insurance.  Will her insurance cover the accident damage to her car and the other car?

Hi Eric,

If you do not live in your aunts household then you will be covered. If you live with your aunt you may not be covered because most insurance policies require that all drivers in the household be listed on the policy.
