Auto Insurance Claims: Settlement, future health care, accident occured

Question
My wife was hit on 3/15/05 and the other person's insurance company admitted fault. My wife has hearing loss, ringing in her ears, weakness on her left side and can not turn her neck all the way to the left. Her car was totaled and we have been settled for it. The insurance company has offered $31000 to settle our claim. Does this seem fair?

Answer
Hi Leon,
A fair settlement for your wife's injuries would be based on a factor times her total 'economic losses' which would include all medical bills, all medical tests, all physical therapy, any documented wage losses and a firm prognosis of her future health care needs to bring her back to 100%, or the detailed reasons why she can never return to 100%.
Please put all this information in a follow-up PRIVATE question and I will do my best to be of help.
Since It's been almost 3 years since the date of the accident, please tell me the state in which this accident occured and if you are represented by an attorney.
Sincerely,
Bennie
