Auto Insurance Claims: Vandalism in driveway, auto insurance policy, homeowners policy

My car was vandalised in my driveway will the claim be through my home owners policy or my auto insurance policy.

Hi Laura,

The claim would be through your auto insurance policy. Your homeowners policy would only come into play if you had personal items such as clothes or golf clubs, etc. in your car that were either damaged or stolen.
