Auto Insurance Claims: Am I at fault?, highway speed limit, other vehicles

Question
I was in an accident in Colorado but I live in Utah.  I was traveling 20 mph under the speed limit on a highway (speed limit was 75) when my car hydroplaned off the road and hit a pole.  I'm ok but the car was totaled.  It was pouring rain so I went to a ranch near the accident and called the insurance and police.  They told me to fill out an accident report online.  I later received a notice saying the accident was my fault.  My question is am I at fault or should I try and dispute this?  Is there a law governing who is at fault?

Answer
Hi Mike,

If there were no other vehicles involved, you are at fault. You are required by law to ALWAYS be able to maintain control of your vehicle regardless of what situation comes up. Since there were no other vehicle involved there is no one else to find at fault.

I hope this helps
