Auto Insurance Claims: auto claim effect on premium, state farm insurance, side tires

i have state farm insurance out in california.  i hit a pot hole on the interstate causing my right side tires to burst and deployed my side airbags. no other vehicles were involved and no police report was filed.   if i claim the damage under my insurance what effect will that have on my premium?

This will be considered an at-fault event. It will be up to the insurance company's guidlines if this will affect your premiums.

Without reporting your claim, you should call your insurance sales agent and ask a hypothetical question about how this may affect your policy.
