Will my son's auto liability insurance cover him while he is driving my car (if he is listed as an exclusion on my auto insurance policy)?

No. Auto insurance does not follow the driver, it follows the vehicle. So no matter who drives your car, your insurance would be in play. Since your son is specifically excluded from coverage, you should never allow him to drive your car as ther will be no coverage and you would be personally liable for any damage that he may cause.
