if i am going to be using someone's car for awhile and cant get it in my name until it is paid off can i put insurance on it in my name?

Hi Stella,

Each state has it's own regulations and requirements as well as each insurance company having their own set of requirements.

I would suggest that you call an independent insurance agent in your area and explain your situation.  They would be in a better situation to answer your question.
