Auto Insurance Claims: auto loss, heavy traffic, medical benefits

on feb 28 i was rear ended. at a stop due to heavy traffic on I5. the other driver hit me at about 50 mph. my truck 2000 f250 super duty super cab with 39,859 miles(totaled) his car, a 2001 4 door rio.the blue book prices the f250 at 16,000, my research finds avg miles and up in the 18,000.
they have offered me 12,250.
i tried to return to work, however by 3/15 the pains in the neck down to my feet had become unbearable. as of today i am unsure when i will be able to return to work.
no truck, no salary. the only bill getting paid is the doctor through my auto insurance. and medical benefits from my employer. where to start???

Hi Jim,

There are many things I could tell you here, but due to the combination of injuries, lost wages and totaled vehicle, I think the best thing for you to do is to contact an attorney. The insurance company will not deal fairly with you and you have too many issues here to try to deal with your self.
