Auto Insurance Claims: Reopen a UIM Claim, insurance claims practices, claim questions

Question
You mentioned in your Common Claim Questions FAQ page that
it is against the law in California for your own insurer
to put a release on the back of your check.  Where can I
find the California Law stating this?  Thanks....is it
really recognized and enforceable in  the court system?

Answer
Don't know exactly off the top of my head. But even 99.9% of claims adjusters and managers working for insurers will not argue that this is the law. If you buy my eBook "Insurance Claims Practices Laws" at UClaim.com, you get some free consultation time (20 minutes on eBooks under $50.00), and I will look up that law for you.

Clear cut law like this must be upheld without question.
