Answer
Hi Kendall,

I hope your daughter will be ok.

The at fault drivers insurance company will be ultimately responsible for paying for all related medical expenses.  However, they will not pay bills as they are incurred. Once all medical treatment is completed, you should assemble all of the bills.  You will need to write a demand letter that outlines each visit, the doctors name and the amount of the bill. Your daughter will also be entitled to be compensated for pain & suffering. Generally a reasonable range for settlement is 3 to 4 time the total of the medical bills. Once you reach an agreed settlement amount, the insurance company will issue 1 check for the total settlement, which will include the medical bills. If you have your medical insurance pay the medical bills in the mean time, be aware that they may require you to reimburse them once you reach the settlement with the insurance company.

I hope this helps
