Auto Insurance Claims: golf ball hit my car, insurance advice

Question
Recently while driving along a road adjacent to a golf course, my front windshield was hit by a golf ball. I stopped the car, then drove to the course parking lot. I went into the pro shop and told them what happened and showed them the ball. They said that they weren't liable and they wouldn't know who drove the ball. What can I do? Is the course liable  in this case? Larry

Answer
 Hello Larry,

I'm not an attorney, but from an insurance standpoint in my opinion there is no liability on the golf course.

If you have collision coverage, you can file a broken windshield claim and there should be no deductible.

Sorry I couldn't help more.
