Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: The interior fan and the engine, happy life, misunderstandings

My husband says that if you leave the blower off for the AC/heat inside the car, that it's bad for the engine.  I don't believe this is the case.  Is he correct?

If you turn the fan off inside the car it will, or should disengage the air conditioning function and therefore cannot do it any harm.
Any air conditioning system should be run as much as possible to circulate lubrication.

It sounds like there could be a misunderstanding between you and your husband.....I have similar misunderstandings with mine.....these are quite easily resolved as I have learnt that she is always right and I am usually wrong.
