QuestionI have a 2000 lincoln navagator and the air blows out of my vents extremely slow I turn the button all t the way up and nothing can you please help me thank you
AnswerIf I understand you correctly the fan doesn't work until you turn it on to maximum ?
The fan speeds are controlled by a resistor. This limits the voltage and therefore the speed of the fan until you turn in on to maximum
On maximum fan the fan bypasses the resistor and goes straight to 12 volts.
If my explanation of your question is correct then you need a new resistor/ rheostat
These are located close to the fan housing, you will see 2 or 3 wires coming out of a multiplug on most vehicles
If you have no fan at all, check the fuses and relays. If these are intact then find the wire that leads to the fan under the dashboard.
Separate the wire and give it 12 volts from the battery with a lead or power-probe.
If it doesn't run then the problem is the fan motor, if it does then there is a problem with the feed to it.
