Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: air conditioner problem, suction hoses, subaru legacy

Question
QUESTION: While running A/C in my 2006 subaru legacy the air blows cold and strong for a few minuites then the blower or fan starts to kick down slower and slower to the point where it's almost off only to be followed by a gurgling noise, then it kicks back in to normal. It does this constant...what causes this?
Thanks

ANSWER: HI Ron

It may be your blower going bad.  When you say it starts back up do you change anything on the controls or not.  Where do you set your control. Exactly what position on the control head. let me know and I'll help you.

QUESTION: What i'm saying is that the a/c goes back to it's normal blowing power. It happens no matter what fan setting on the control head. I'm not messing with the settings as this occurs. So if the the control is set at full it will blow at full for a few min. then start to slowly die out to where it's almost not blowing at all, followed by a gurgling sound then it will turn on normal again. It will repeat this process every few minuites. Thanks Candido!!

Answer
Next time it happens try and see if your system is freezing up.  One way is to pull off the road and check the suction hoses for ice.  You can also keep driving and just turn the compressor off before it gets to that very low speed.  See if this will improve the air volume.  If it does then get me some pressures and we will figure it out.
