Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: A/C Runs Continuously, dodge ram 1500, dodge

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L 318. My A/C runs constantly on all settings even when running heat in the winter. I hear the compressor kicking on and off.  Can you tell me if this is a relay problem or something else?

We need to run some tests.  First turn control to off and see if compressor is on or off.  Then turn it on in every position and see if any of them turns off the  compressor.  You should have it turn off in heat.  Does your control have a button for ac or just the main button that controls your door positions.  Let me know and I'll try and help.
