Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 03 Cherokee AC problem, cold knob, chrysler product

My AC blows hot air. For a while I could jiggle the hot/cold knob and the cold air would kick in but that doesn't even work anymore. Sometimes while driving the cold air will start for a couple minutes then fade out. I have had all components checked and are okay. Freon is good. Any suggestions where to look next?

On Chrysler product we have been seeing a lot of the actuator doors with problems (plastic breaking).  You can have the heater core temporally disconnected and see if you have cold air.  They can disconnect by just putting hose clamps on the hoses.  If the ac works then you must check inside the dash for either a broken door or an actuator motor that is not working properly. good luck
