Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: AC blows out hot air!, cadillac eldorado, radiator fan

Question
I have a 1998 Cadillac Eldorado and the AC was blowing out hot air at idle but when I would be driving it would work fine and now it just blows out hot air all the time.  I can hear the fan come on when I turn the AC on.  What do you think the problem would be?

I really need the pressure in the system to tell you what is happening.  But if your compressor is on all the time and it does not cool you may need the compressor.  From  what you said it was doing before your compressor may have been going or you may have an electric radiator fan bad.
