Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: heater on 1998 lincoln town car, lincoln town car, heater core

The heater is always on.  When I turn the a/c on the compressor will kick on.  When you first start the car it seems like the a/c works until the car gets warm enough to warm the water in the heater core then it blows heat.  something is not allowing the water to shut off to the heater core, or maybe theres a flap that closes in front of the heater core.  I don't know, I would appreciate it if you would give me any suggestions.

There are two things that could be wrong you must check to see if the actuator for the heater (a little motor) inside your dash board, not easy to get too without remove the dashboard.  You could probably see it if you remove your glove compartment and look towards the back of your control.  The other thing is the actual door may be broken but that is not as common.  Good luck to you, you may need to take it to a repair shop unless you are mechanically inclined.
