Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: New compressor ticks Mazda 323, radiator fan, mazda 323

Question
We just replaced everything on our 1990 Mazda 323. This included the compressor, dryer, expansion valve, and condenser. After numerous special orders to get the right parts, and some of them coming in damaged and reordering we finally got everything put back together and the compressor ticked. We kept adding oil and when it finally stopped ticking it ran for a minute and then quit.  Futher inspection showed the compressor was really hot and a fuse had blown. Maybe the compressor was bad to start with? It was rebuilt of course since mazda no longer can get these. Can you help us with some diagnostics to try to prevent us from having to take all the stuff off and return to the store?  We are desperate!

Answer
HI SHANNON, THAT COMPRESSOR IS A LEMON AND WORSE WHEN IT`S A BAD REBUILT. CALL THIS PH# 1 800 628 0474.I ORDER IMPORT COMPRESSORS FROM THEM. THE COMPANY IS CALLED RANSHU INC. IN RENO,NV. THEY GOT GOOD STUFF.BE SURE THE RADIATOR FAN IS ON WHEN THE A/C IS RUNNING,IT WILL OVER HEAT.THAT COMPRESSOR MAY BE DEFECTIVE AT THIS POINT.ONLY PUT OIL IN BEFORE YOU RUN THE SYSTEM. LIQUID ENTERING THE SYSTEM WHILE IT`S RUNNING CAN DAMAGE THE COMPRESSOR VALVE PLATE.IF YOU RETURN THE COMPRESSOR,JUST TELL THEM THAT IT HAS NO SUCTION AND DISCHARGE PRESSURE WHEN TURNED ON.

GOOD LUCK,DAVIDT
