Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: No AC Dodge Neon, dodge neon, main lead

2001 Dodge Neon
AC compressor not engaging. Tried to add 134a would not take it gage on reads 95 psi.

Hi Chuck, sounds like your psi is normal for freon.  you need to check for power to the compressor.First check a/c fuse if its burnt.If is burnt you gotta short somewhere in the system.Locate the filter and find the low pressure switch-bypass the switch thru the harness for testing to see if the compressor turns on.Check for power at compressor
main lead into clutch.
