Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 1998 ZX-2 AC question, blown fuse, electrical diagnostics

AC has been charged and pressure checked(okay).Compressor does not come on. Is there any troubleshooting I can do before I plunk out any more money on a diagnostic (fuses, connectors,etc.)

Hi Joe,Unless you got an a/c wiring diagram or flow chart it would be pretty hard to diagnosis.Does the a/c light show to be on from the dash panel? If so,you may have a pressure switch that could be defective and not allow the compressor to engage.Then again, if there`s no display you may have a short or blown fuse.If you`re not to keen with electrical diagnostics let a a/c shop check it out.At least the responsibilty to provide you an answer falls on them.
It` s not worth guessing.
