Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 94 eldo a/c, vacuum pump, orifice tube

dealer said ac/compressor is leaking and also some vavles . I am pretty good at fix things is it a job I can do myself. I can buy a/c compressor on line

You will need special equipment to replace the compressor.

Such as:

1. A set of A/C gages.
2. A vacuum pump.
3. You need to know how much oil to put in the new compressor.

4. You should replace thhe accumulator and the orifice tube.

5. you need to know how much freon to put in the system.

6. To MUCH or to LITTLE oil or freon in the system can damage the compressor.


It is not worth the risk of destroying your new compressor if you make a mistake.
