Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 95 jeep wrangler freon recharge, jeep wrangler, person injury

Question
I HAVE A 95 JEEP WRANGLER WITH A FOUR CYLINDER ENGINE. I KNOW THAT THE IT NEEDS FREON BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE ON THE ACCUMULATOR IT NEEDS TO BE FILLED AT. IT HAS NO QUICK CONNECT ON IT TO CONNECT A SET OF GAUGES TO. SO CAN YOU TELL ME HOW I RECHARGE THE 134A AT?

Answer
You need to put a set of AC gages on the system FIRST to see what pressure is before you go adding any freon. To much freon will damage the compressor due to to much high side pressure. There is only 1 suction port on the vehicle which should be near the accumulator. Check with an AC facility before you attempt to install additional freon as person injury can occur if you do it incorrectly.
