96 grand caravan just replaced ac compressor and
ac blows but not cold air, what could be the
typical reasons why this might be? prior to ac compressor going out i did hear a slight hissing noise near the passenger side floor when turning
the ac off or down.

Tell me step by step what you did to install the new compressor. I need to know EVERYTHING you DID.

the ac compressor was replaced at a  certified repair shop

Could have to much refrigerant oil in the system.
Could have to much freon.

Could have not enough freon.
could have a restriction in one of the lines.


you need to get a set of A/C gages on the system to see what the pressures are.
