Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: A/C Serviced, but not working, electronic leak detector, bmw 325i

Question
While my car is a 1994 BMW 325i, I suspect that all A/C systems are basically the same regardless of Foreign car or not so I hope you can answer my question.  I recently had my A/C system tested and recharged since it was not blowing cool air.  The tests indicated no obvious leaks, and the compressor was working fine.  After a recharge, the system was blowing cool air great.  However, just after a couple of weeks the system is back to blowing no cool air.  What would you expect to be the possible problems and what would be a reasonable range of costs to fix?

Thanks!

Answer
It appears obvious that you have a freon leak in one of the major ac components or in one of the hoses.

Apparently the first facility did not test it GOOD ENOUGH to detect the leak and or they did not have the ELECTRONIC LEAK DETECTOR in order to find the leak.

The cost depends on WHAT is leaking which is what you need to find out.

If it is the evaporator parts and albor could go up to $1500.00

If it's the compressor it could go #1200.00.

If it's a hose could go $400 to $750.00
