Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: GM Auto Air Conditioner, auto air conditioner, buick le sabre

Question
'93 Buick Le Sabre (Freon 12 System).  Hot air (120 deg) blows for approx. l minute before cooler air starts to flow.  The digital A/C thermometer in the console blinks during this time.  This never happened before.  It is as if the hot refrigerant backs up in the system while a/c is off, then system blows hot air until refrigerant starts to flow normally.  Could this be a faulty valve in the system that is malfunctioning? After hot air turns to cooler air, the thermometer stops blinking and the A/C operates normally until I start the car again.  Thanks in advance for your answers.

Answer
There is most likely a problem within the blower motor portion of the a/c system of which will require several tests to determine the exact cause. Without actually performing these tests personally, AllI would be doing is guessing.

It could be something within the programmer or in the blower circuit.
