In the toyota camry 1999 CE , where is the valve to put he Gas for the Air Conditioner ?

With NO DISRESPECT intended, Before you go adding GAS (freon) to ANY A/C system in order to do it CORRECTLY and SAFELY you must first have a set of A/C gages and know how to read the pressures in your system.

then you need:

1. an electronic leak detector in order to find out where the LEAK is in the system.

2. You need to know the EXACT amount of freon to install.

3. You need to calculate how much refrigerant oil to put back into the system.

4. You MUST evacuatue and recharge the system with the EXACT amount of freon AFTER you have found and fixed the leak.

Just dumpin in freon can be EXTREMLY dangerous because you do NOT knoe IF or HOW MYCH freon to install or how much refrigerant oil to install.

If you install to MUCH or to LITTLE of EITHER freon or oil you can damage the A/C system compressor.

Due to the COLDNESS of freon it will and can cause serious permanent injury to your person if you get it on your skin or in your eyes.

I STRONGLY recommend that you do NOT make this potentially disasterous repair and have it performed by a professional who has the equipment and expertise to do the job CORRECTLY.
