Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: air flow, fan assy, vacuum lines

Question
I have a 1997 Dodge Ram with the 5.9 engine. The a/c system seems to be working fine but very little air flows out of the dash vents. It doesn't seem to be coming out elsewhere either(defrost, floor etc...) I have removed the blower motor and fan assy. and it works fine. It blows tons of air when holding it my hand. It almost seems like the ductwork is partially blocked or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
From where you removed the blower motor if you had reached inside of the duct work you would have felt a DAMPER DOOR of ewhich was most likely CLOSED and should have been OPEN to allow your air flow. check for vacuum line leaks under the dash and in the engine compartment. If you cannot find ANY broken, cracked, pinched vacuum lines either RUBBER or small diameter PLASTIC both usually colored BLACK your problem would be with the mode control door actuator or NO VACUUM to the actuator.
