Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: 97 Jepp Wrangler heater, engine vacuum, temp gauge

Question
I have a 97 wrangler that will not heat up. I can let the jeep heat up for 20 to 30 minute and it will be a little warmer at when you start. It takes about 15 to 20 miles before it will blow luke warm air. If you make a sharp turn it will blow cold air. It will blow cold air on defrost too. The temp gauge is running normal. Good temp in and out of the fire wall. Can you give me any suggestions?

Answer
What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.

Your problem is most likely with the A/C-Heaher programmer assembly and or a loss of engine vacuum to the programer located under the adsh.
