Followup To
Question -
I noticed that my heat is not getting hot. During the summer I
changed my therostat because it was getting hot when I used my
A/C, but that didn't work, when the outside temp was above 90's
and I used my A/C the truck temp would go above 200.  Now
that its winter I noticed that the heat is not working that well.
Could my problem be the therostat, water flow, and/or heater
core.  Also I some time here a gurgle from possibly from the
heater core, time ago, but not now.
Answer -
Today's newer engines are SUPPOSED to run at a NORMAL engine water temp of 220 degrees.
Re-install the manufacturer's recommended thermostat back in the vehicle.

Answer
What DEGREE thermostat is in it ?.

Are BOTH heater hoses HOT to the touch at normal operating temp ?.

What mechanical work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.

WHY did you replace the stat if this was true at the time:

when the outside temp was above 90's and I used my A/C the truck temp would go above 200.

I may be mistaken, And IF I am, I apologize, But I get the feeling that there is something your not willing to reveal that was modified on this vehicle.
