Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: AUTO HEATER, mercury grand marquis, auto heater

I WAS TRYING TO REPAIR MY MOTHERS 1995 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS.  SHE WAS COMPLAINING TO THE HEATER NOT GETTING WARM ENOUGH TO HEAT THE INTERIOR.  FOUND ANTI-FREEZE LOW, ADDED MORE, REPLACED THERMOSTAT ALSO.  TOO NO AVAIL VEH STILL NOT GETTING HOT ENOUGH, IS BLOWING VERY LITTLE WARM AIR.  WOULD YOU HAVE ANYOTHER SUGGESTIONS THAT I COULD DO.  I AM NOT A MECHANIC BY NO MEANS BUT DO KNOW MY WAY AROUND A AUTOMOBILE.

What is the engine temp at ?.

Are the radiator hoses HOT to the touch ?.

Are the heater hoses hot to the touch ?.


What mechanical work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.
