Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: blower motor, plymouth sundance, fusible links

Question
I have a 1994 plymouth sundance and the blower fan was not working, so I pulled the motor and tested it with 12 volts.  It turns OK.  I tried testing the feed wires with a test light, but I can't tell if I'm making a connection. No light.  Could it be a resistor or relay problem, and where are they located?  This car had a short in the rear defrost that blew a fusable link a couple of years ago, otherwise there has not been a problem with the wiring.

Answer
Is there ANYTHING else on the vehicle that does NOT work. TRY everything to make sure that another component that may be on the same circuit as the blower motor system may NOT be working as well.

Do you have ANY speeds for the blower motor ?.

Usually if the RESISTOR unit fails you still have HIGH speed blower operation.

You did do the obvious by checking the fuses ?.

Check for a possible blown fusible link where the other one was located. These LINKS can appear to look OK on the OUTSIDE but can be melted INTERNALLY. Check each end of your fusible links using your test light.
