Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: dodge truck heater /blower, coolant leak, heater hoses

I have a 2002 dodge 1500 ram truck. It's a V-6 4.7.

The problem is there is no hot air when parked. I can't defrost the windows while the truck warms up- it blows only cold until I start to drive. Had it in to the dealer, they can't figure it out.
What do you think?

What is the past repair history on the vehicle. I need to know everything from an engine replacement to a light bulb replaced.

What I think, Is that you have some dealership your dealing with.

WHAT IS THE CURRENT MILEAGE ?

Do BOTH heater hoses get HOT to the touch ?.

Did anybody pressure test the cooling system ?.


There are ONLY a couple of possibilities:

1. Thermostat.
2. Damper door problem.
3. A external coolant leak.
4. An internal coolant leak.
5. A restriction in the radiator.
6. A restriction in the heater core.
