Auto Air Conditioning & Heater Repair: Heating/Airc Conditioning, smeel, defrosters

Question
We have a 1997 Chev. Sub. 5.7 V8 two wheel drive. For several months I have noticed the need to frequently add antifreeze, but it's been difficult trying to find an actual leak. I have made a number of auto repairs to this and several other vehicles that I have owned and feel confident in making any other reasonable repairs. I have been frustrated by paying outragous auto repair bills. The car has not overheated or disabled the car. Can you advise

Answer
You only have 2 possibilities. Either the vehicle is LOSING it externally or USING it internally.

Look for obvious signs of anti-freeze on the ground. Spread out some newspapers under the engine and radiator over noght and see what you see on the paper in the morning.

Is the rug where the passenger sits wet to the touch or do you have a SWEET SMEEL when driving the vehicle with the heater, A/C or defrosters ON ?.
